Rent a Car in Belgrade Without a Credit Card — Here Is How
Most Belgrade rental companies block a deposit on a credit card. We do not. How to rent a car in Belgrade with a debit card or cash, and what you still need.

The single most common reason a car rental in Belgrade falls through at the counter is the credit card. Big international brands block €500–€1500 on a credit card in the driver's own name — and a debit card is refused.
Rent a Car M works differently: we charge no security deposit at all. That means no card block, no frozen holiday budget, and no requirement for a credit card in the driver's name.
What you do need: a valid driver's licence held for at least 2 years, a passport or ID card, and a minimum age of 21. That is the full list.
Payment options: cash in EUR or RSD on delivery, debit or credit card, or bank transfer for companies with an invoice. For corporate clients we issue a monthly invoice with VAT.
Non-EU licences: if your licence is not in Latin script, bring an International Driving Permit alongside it. Licences from the EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia and most of the region are accepted as they are.
Why this matters for tourists: a blocked deposit can take 10–20 working days to be released after the rental ends, and foreign-currency conversion is charged twice. Renting without a deposit avoids that entirely.
Book online, tell us your pickup address in Belgrade or your flight number, and we deliver the car free — no card, no deposit, no surprises.
Reserve your one-way rental from Belgrade in 60 seconds.
